Job Summary

The Vocational Training Council is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering lectures and conducting tutorials in Putonghua as the medium of instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials and lessons for students
  • Conduct tutorials and provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into teaching practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a recognized Master's degree in one or more of the following fields: Law, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Event Management, Property & Facilities Management, Aviation Management, Accounting, Statistics or related fields. You will also need to have at least 4 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or experience in professional practice in the relevant fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with strong industry networks and experience in teaching in Putonghua will be highly desirable. You will also need to be native in Putonghua or have received a recognized bachelor's degree program with Putonghua as the medium of instruction, or have at least 3 years' work experience in Mainland China or other Putonghua speaking countries or regions.
