Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Instructor to join our team at the Vocational Training Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supervising students, as well as contributing to the development of our language programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach and supervise students in English language courses, including the development of lesson plans and materials
  • To assist in the development of our language programs, including curriculum design and assessment
  • To participate in language enhancement activities and projects
  • To provide administrative support for student and academic matters
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in English Language, English Language and Literature, Language Studies (English), Linguistics, Education (English), English Communication, or Translation (English)
  • A relevant English teaching qualification, such as Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (major in English), Teaching English as a Second Language, or Teaching English as a Foreign Language
  • At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience
  • Good communication, presentation, and digital skills
  • A good team player, able to work on own initiative and willing to meet challenges
