Vita Green Health Product Company Limited, a prominent retail organization focused on the development and marketing of 13 proprietary brands and over 150 products across Asia, Europe, and the USA, is on the lookout for a Procurement Lead / Assistant Procurement Lead to enhance their team. In this role, you will be part of the Procurement and Material Planning division, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to support supply sourcing, project coordination, execution, and related change management initiatives. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the continuous enhancement, adherence, and administration of procurement policies, product quality standards, procurement processes, and systems.
  • Establish a new sourcing team comprising 3-4 direct reports in China.
  • Guide the team in organizing and managing all activities associated with strategic sourcing, new product development (NPD), project coordination, and provide change management support and resources for project initiatives.
  • Develop and present procurement management reports to aid in strategy formulation and drive ongoing process improvements.
  • Conduct spending and market analysis to offer insights and facilitate quality enhancements, cost reductions, and procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with all lines of business (LOBs) to keep them informed about the latest project developments.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to enhance procurement process efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Anticipate and plan the company's inventory requirements.
  • Ensure that all purchases comply with quality standards and are delivered punctually.
  • Manage the procurement budget and provide regular updates to upper management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience in sourcing and procurement management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience in the retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing and project management.
  • Familiarity with D365, SAP, or other ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Professional certification in CIPS, procurement, or supply chain is preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, a collaborative team player with a positive attitude, high initiative, and integrity.

Note:
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Procurement Lead position.
