About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Expert to join our team as an Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, advising on trade transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Your expertise in risk management, product knowledge, and process improvement will enable you to drive operational efficiencies and contribute to the bank's success.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Trade clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
- Trade Transaction Advisory: Provide guidance on trade transactions, including structuring, documentation, and execution, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with trade transactions, ensuring the bank's exposure is minimized.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements, implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and procedures to maintain the bank's reputation and minimize risk.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Trade Finance, with a focus on risk management, product knowledge, and process improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of trade operations, UCPDC, ISBP, URDG rules, and guidelines.
- Exposure to process improvement projects and change management.
- Business-oriented, enterprising, and inquisitive mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
