Job Opportunity: Manager, Retail Propositions

Hang Seng Bank Limited is committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as Manager, Retail Propositions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and strengthen value propositions for mass retail and other strategic segments, building corresponding capabilities to support proposition pillars through customer insights.
  • Design and implement customer events, loyalty programs, and partnership privileges and product offerings based on analytics insights, customer characteristics, and needs to deepen customer relationships.
  • Manage digital projects and collaborate with internal counterparts to ensure deliverables strengthen proposition capabilities.
  • Plan and work with internal stakeholders to ensure proposition campaigns are launched smoothly and on time to meet objectives.
  • Design and implement customer journeys across multichannel touchpoints for enhanced customer engagement in alignment with segment strategy for a diverse customer base.
  • Collaborate with key Business Units, Distribution, and Functions to ensure propositions are properly delivered to customers with the most optimal approach.
  • Stay on top of compliance requirements, particularly sales and marketing-related, competition law, and fair value principles, to take timely actions to mitigate relevant risks posing to the bank, where applicable.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements to ensure all customer communications and initiatives comply with FIM and related policies.
  • Develop expert knowledge of customer base, market trends, and competitor activities to support strategic direction.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years' retail banking experience.
  • Solid experience in banking products, e.g., banking accounts, wealth management products, credit cards, etc., will be a plus.
  • Customer-oriented with strong business acumen, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and positive attitude with good project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to bring divergent ideas to create new and valuable solutions.
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn, and able to work in an Agile environment.
  • Resilience to stress, able to unlock full potential, and prepare for the future of work.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery.
