Job Title: Senior Sales Manager, Global Banking Corporates, Global Payment Solutions

HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Manager, Global Banking Corporates, Global Payment Solutions. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multinational corporates and driving sales origination, cross-sell, and retention across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of multinational corporates and be responsible for sales origination, cross-sell, and retention across the portfolio.
  • Be the primary regional point of contact and accountability for sales origination and related activities.
  • Responsible for originating leads, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers in the sector, in order to identify and sell innovative solutions.
  • Accountable for coordinating and managing Account Plans for allocated clients, acting as a single point of contact working in collaboration with Global and Regional Relationship Manager to build deal pipeline and deliver incremental revenue growth.
  • Responsible for pricing, reviewing, and negotiating the full range of cash management services for the regional clients, together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by Group.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of being able to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day workings of a Corporate Treasury environment, foreign exchange, and payments.
  • Having worked in relationship management, trade financing, markets, or in corporate treasury is a plus.
  • Relationship Management experience at multiple levels plus a proven sales record.
  • A global mindset with a strong managerial, communications, organizational, decision-making, lateral thinking, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional/country regulatory landscape and ability to assess the impact of proposed changes in regulatory rules to the bank.
  • Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English with fluency in Chinese is a plus.
