Job Summary
The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Training Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff training team, you will play a vital role in establishing the Youth Work Academy and developing a structured model for internal staff training.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive and engaging training programs that align with the objectives of the HKFYG Youth Work Academy.
- Collaborate with internal units and external organizations to establish strong partnerships and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to raise awareness about the HKFYG Youth Work Academy and promote its courses.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Academy, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient delivery of training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, human resources management, business administration, social work, or any related field.
- Strong expertise in training design and development, with a focus on creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.
- Knowledge of the youth work field and an understanding of the needs and challenges faced by youth workers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and individuals.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in training or course development.
Working Arrangements
- Candidates will be required to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) if job duties involve frequent contact with children.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend a written test.
- Applicants who are not contacted within 3 months may consider their applications unsuccessful and the applications will then be destroyed.
- For those applicants who have been invited to attend an interview but unsuccessful, the applications will be destroyed within 1 year upon the completion of the recruitment exercise.
