Business Analysis Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Ambition. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a solid understanding of requirements and impact to the business areas.
  • Communication: Ensure effective stakeholder communication and serve as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Constraint Identification: Identify, document, analyze, and escalate operational, financial, and technological constraints, assumptions, and risks associated with projects.
  • Critical Evaluation: Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and provide value-adding advice to ensure alignment with project and company objectives.
  • Requirements Development: Translate business needs into functional requirements, URS, user stories, and deliver functional specifications and business process models.
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Testing Team to communicate clearly the objectives and all relevant fine detail to gatekeep the quality standards and enhance the quality of IT products and services.
  • Business Process Improvement: Work with end users via workshops and meetings to evaluate and define business processes and business problems, uncovering areas for improvement and value creation.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: University graduate or bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in pension operations or financial services.
  • Project Management: Experience of managing project teams from different business stakeholders and support teams at different levels.
Domain Knowledge:
  • Business Analysis Tools: Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proficient industry knowledge of the MPF / ORSO regulation/ Trust related regulations and concepts.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Delivery: Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, quality, and timeline.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Technical Skills: Strong PC skills in MS Word and Excel. Candidate with skill in Access or other program language is preferable.
  • Language Skills: Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
