Job Summary:
As a Business Systems Analyst at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, you will play a crucial role in defining and documenting requirements for the development of new IT systems and the improvement of existing IT systems. Your strong project management skills in a financial services sector will enable you to deliver projects/initiatives for the Listing Division and work closely with different project stakeholders across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze business needs, evaluate solution options, drive and lead the business solution
* Prepare structured requirements documents / user stories, functional specification, end-to-end process flows and use cases
* Ensure HKEX IT teams and third party consultants understand the business needs so that they can develop solutions to meet them
* Help define testing strategies and plans, support testing activities, analyze and communicate test outcomes and train end users on the system
* Coordinate with internal users, external business parties, relevant statutory bodies and Listed companies
* Ensure project delivery is on time and meets project scope and expectation
Requirements:
* Computer Science, MIS, IT or related discipline degree
* Minimum 9 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst or similar roles in well-established financial institutions or client-facing web application projects
* Ability to collect requirements from stakeholders, design effective UI/UX solutions, and convert them into actionable plans
* Practical experience in Vendor & IT management, from project initiation to delivery
* Solid organizational and project management skills under both waterfall and agile methodologies, with knowledge of best practices and documentation
* Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
