About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Product Research Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying consumer needs and insights related to our Mother & Child Care portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct consumer research through various channels, including focus groups, one-on-one interviews, and usability tests.
  • Design and execute consumer studies to gather actionable insights and validate consumer needs.
  • Champion the voice of the consumer during product development, working closely with technical experts, project managers, and marketing teams.
  • Translate user needs into user requirements and guide the translation process from ideal product models to technical product requirements.
  • Own and drive the end-to-end consumer experience journey based on consumer needs to maximize user satisfaction.
  • Initiate the creation of user educational materials, including product onboarding, direction for use manuals, FAQs, and how-to videos.
  • Substantiate appealing claims to support product development, market, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor post-launch consumer feedback through various means, including sales touchpoints, social media, workshops, and consumer care.
  • Collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights for new product development and quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Consumer mindset/business oriented with outspoken skills to collaborate cross-functionally and in cross-cultural teams.
  • Proven experience in setting up and conducting common research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research, and usability studies.
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data, with experience in text analysis tools and desktop research.
  • Strong communication skills, with years of experience in product development, product quality, and translating the voice of the consumer into technical/quality standards.
  • Good team player, high level of flexibility, and ability to support beyond direct job scope.
  • Good command of English, with knowledge of Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) a strong plus.
