{"Overview": "At Mayer Brown, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Application Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Legal Practise Management System (LPMS) and other financial applications.

Responsibilities:

* Provide Level 1 and 2 support for the Firm's LPMS, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and resolution of technical issues
* Respond to user queries efficiently to minimize disruption and resolution timeframe
* Setup and manage user accounts, manage configure permissions, and ensure proper access controls are in place
* Collaborate closely with external (Aderant) and internal IT teams to ensure applications integration, stability, and security
* Manage the implementation of application upgrades and patches, identify issues, and escalate/follow up with vendors on corresponding fixes and improvements
* Lead application configuration and customization to meet business requirements
* Monitor application performance to ensure optimal functionality
* Perform regular system testing
* Provide technical guidance and support to end users on application/workflow improvement projects
* Create and maintain documentation related to application support procedures, best practices, and troubleshooting FAQs
* Deliver user trainings
* Ensure the use of the LPMS complies with firm policies, data governance, and retention, access controls, and the like
* Stay up-to-date with the latest LPMS trends and innovations

Qualifications/Person Specification:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
* At least 3 years' experience in application support, technical troubleshooting, and user assistance, preferred in legal firms or professional services
* Experience in collaborating with software development vendors to facilitate application supportability and incident management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
* Knowledge and experience with Aderant suite of products is a plus
* Ability to articulate complex technologies to non-technical people and help technical people understand the business requirements better
* Experience in system configuration, customization, and testing
* Familiarity with finance & accounting operation and software applications is a plus
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities
* A high level of discretion in preserving the confidentiality of sensitive information
* The ability to be proactive and creative in identifying and solving problems and issues
* Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors
