Actuarial Leader in Mergers and Acquisitions

About the Role
This position will see you leading the evaluation of merger & acquisition activities in a leading life insurance giantKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate M&A financials and review valuation, including:
- Leading due diligence and valuation, ensuring alignment with AIA standards.
- Identifying key levers of deal valuation and risk of transactions; present findings to group finance and local finance leaders.
- Collaborating with Group Partnership Distribution and Group Corporate Transactions teams to review case proposals.
- Leading external consultants to review their work and ensure alignment with AIA standards.
- Developing cash flow projections for case proposals.
- Recommending appropriate product mixes according to individual target markets to facilitate corporate transactions.
Deliver actuarial services to emerging markets and new markets.
- Completing actuarial projects, delivering quality services, and sharing Group SOP with internal customers.
- Serving as a point of contact for key partners and clients at countries and Group Office to resolve project issues and present project outcomes.
- Mentoring actuarial talents in new markets.
Work with countries on special projects, perform peer review, and provide actuarial mentorship.
- Defining responsibilities and roles of group office and local teams.
- Developing efficient working approaches to deliver target results.
- Presenting results to group and local senior management.
- Working on ad hoc strategically important projects assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience.
- Qualified actuary.
- Practical knowledge of life insurance products.
- Self-starter.
- Strong technical skills and client management skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum.
