Job Summary

Langham Hospitality Group is a global hotel company with properties located in major cities and four continents under The Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, and Ying'nFlo brands. It is the hospitality arm of Great Eagle Holdings, a leading property development company in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the billing logistics to ensure invoices are accurately and timely issued, and ensure the billing information is properly updated in accounting systems.
  • Work with business partners and IT to enhance and well test the billing system function, and implement internal controls for accurate, timely, and efficient billing and complying with internal policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for revenue assurance, account receivable reporting, monthly statements delivery, data reconciliation, and billing dispute handling.
  • Participate in internal/external audits, tax, and currency remittance control related matters, and serve as the Accounting liaison to other Group companies and business associates.
  • Participate in business administration, ad hoc financial and non-financial projects, and actively participate in the development of best practices in the Finance Department.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate in Business/Commerce discipline, and Professional Qualification – CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Possess acute analytical skills and able to communicate clearly and effectively, and be comfortable with working in a dynamic environment.
  • Displays open-minded thinking and be flexible, with 10+ years in a commercial organization accounting/finance department and 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experienced in financial accounting & reporting/internal controls/audit/tax, commercial contracts, China, and/or international experience is a definite advantage.
  • Experience in leading an accounting operations team with a strong background in financial accounting and consolidation management and statutory reporting.
  • Solid understanding of business administration and accounting/internal controls principles, and experience in hotel industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential.
