Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced professional to assist in delivering our group's financial reporting, statutory reports, and projections. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial information.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all accounting and regulatory issues related to our general insurance business are addressed.
  • Propose and implement procedures to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and internal control.
  • Liaise with various departments on business and accounting matters.
  • Approve and review management controls, prepare audited accounts, tax returns, regulatory returns, and daily vouchers/journals.
  • Support the production of RBC and IFRS 17 reports.
  • Handle ad hoc projects as required.
Incumbent Requirements:
  • University graduate in Business or Accounting, with a qualified accountant preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting and/or auditing experience in the finance services industry, with 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in the general insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance business, sound accounting and regulatory knowledge.
  • Passionate about their work, with excellent presentation, interpersonal, and management skills.
