As an Accounting Officer with our organization, you will play a key role in managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, account control, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Processing accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining and reconciling account control records.
  • Performing bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Daily cash & GL reconciliation, monthly General Ledger Control and Attestation.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, account control, bookkeeping, and general ledger.
  • A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
