Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Officer to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, account control, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and processing accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining and reconciling account control records.
- Performing bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
- Daily cash & GL reconciliation, monthly General Ledger Control and Attestation.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with proven experience in accounts payable, account control, bookkeeping, and general ledger. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are also essential. Additionally, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, as the candidate will need to collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
