We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Strategist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality health insurance solutions.

About the Role

This role will involve providing actuarial oversight across all health-related pricing, underwriting, and claims practices. You will develop and execute new, innovative pricing strategies that enable the company to build a sustainable health insurance business. Additionally, you will partner with the Propositions team to deliver new, innovative health insurance solutions that are both marketable and profitable.

You will participate in the Product Governance process and support the Connected Care and Technical Excellence teams as they design and implement various medical claims cost containment initiatives.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in actuarial analysis, performance management, and financial services. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights for decision making.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement performance management strategies and initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to design product features that impact customer behavior as a way to better control medical costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute new, innovative pricing strategies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in actuarial analysis, performance management, and financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $140,000-$160,000 based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a company match.
