Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our team at PCCW. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, and supervision of technical operations, maintenance, and repair of air traffic control systems and electronic/communication/IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing technical operations, maintenance, and repair of air traffic control systems and electronic/communication/IT equipment.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising maintenance and repair works of systems/equipment and conducting system review to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Assist in coordinating with various internal and external parties for operations and maintenance works.
  • Assist in project work for air traffic control systems and electronic/communication/IT equipment.
  • Assist in preparing solutions for project tender bidding and implementation of projects.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or above in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer/Software/Information/e-logistics/Industrial Engineering or other related disciplines.
  • Possession of training record of Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel/Professional (ATSEP) training course is an advantage.
  • Possessing track record of relevant hands-on working experience in system design, building, testing, and commissioning, operations, and maintenance in mission-critical service or project is highly preferable.
  • Good team player, customer-focused mindset, open-mindedness, proactive, result/service-oriented, total quality management, and safety concept with strong logical analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently under pressure with strong desire and commitment to deliver high-quality works in short notice.
  • Good spoken and written English is a must. Knowledge of Putonghua is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered.
  • Possessing driving license is an advantage.
