About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our daily operations, including the processing of corporate actions, income on bond connect, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and run a daily escalation forum for the region, reviewing all risk factors surrounding in-flight events and preparing and sending minutes to risk and senior management.
  • Process all corporate actions/income on bond connect, RQFII, China B, and LGC positions.
  • Monitor events coming in for any exceptions and short-fused events.
  • Exception processing and onshore forms for corporate action events.
  • Provide instruction sign-off on all mandatory with options/voluntary corporate action.
  • Identify process improvements, analyze the impact that the changes bring, and provide training to the process line.
  • Monitor Nostro and depot breaks, ensuring clearance in line with CMR rules and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to the process line on a daily basis.
  • Provide escalation of any risk immediately, acting as the first point of contact for NOC within Hong Kong, and pass the full information to the relevant Hong Kong management contacts.
  • Ensure all incident reports are submitted in accordance with the Service Level Document.
  • Provide MI where possible/if requested.

About You:
  • 5+ years' experience in Asset Services, with a proven track record of working in the APAC market.
  • Product knowledge: All products.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work as part of a team (including remote teams).
  • High personal motivational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
