Job Description - Assistant Manager-Supply Chain Transformation

About the Company
  • Mass Transit Railway is a leading transportation company that operates in Hong Kong.

We are seeking an Assistant Supply Chain Director to join our team and assist in developing supply chain and logistics systems, including the Enterprise Resource Planning project (iERP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing efficient supply chain and logistics systems to ensure effective operation in line with corporate strategies.
  • Collaborating with teams to streamline processes and workflows on inventory control, spare management, stores operations, truck fleet management, logistics processes, and systems.
  • Liaising with module users, IT professionals, and specialists on system-related matters and overseeing interfaces between systems.
  • Analyzing and evaluating the impact of business growth, changes in maintenance philosophy, and advancements in technology for developing supply chain and inventory.
Requirements
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics and Transport or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Railway Inventory System, Accounting & Data Control; of which 1 year in a supervisory role; OR
  • A Higher Diploma in Management Studies/Financial Management or a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience in world-class ERP System (e.g., ORACLE and SAP) and familiarity with Railway Supply Chain.
  • Sound knowledge of end-user computing, warehouse management, and logistics and distribution with inventory control techniques.
