Position Overview:

The Brand Manager is essential in driving profitable expansion within the home care categories across Greater China, focusing primarily on Hong Kong, with additional responsibilities in Taiwan and brand support in Mainland China. This position encompasses the development and implementation of localized marketing strategies and initiatives that align with the overarching global brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development & Implementation:

  • Analyze consumer insights and market dynamics.
  • Protect brand integrity while managing product assortment and pricing strategies.
  • Design, execute, and oversee new product launches and marketing campaigns in line with regional and local strategies.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Coordinate with creative, media, and research agencies for integrated marketing communications, campaign media planning, and ongoing social content.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and regional partners to ensure alignment and compliance in product innovation and renovation efforts.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage the brand's profit and loss, advertising and promotional spending to achieve sales, margin, and profit targets.
  • Conduct forecasting and budgeting activities.

Operational Support:

  • Oversee data analysis and internal reporting as necessary.
  • Manage monthly advertising and promotional budgets.
  • Handle additional marketing administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Nielsen tools is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

  • Cantonese
  • English
  • Mandarin (spoken)

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication abilities.
  • Creative, self-driven, ambitious, and resilient.
  • Strong individual contributor with a solid understanding of business and numerical analysis.
  • Effective team player, accountable, proactive, logical, and eager to learn and develop.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
  • Experience in the home care category is highly desirable.
  • Background in new product development is a plus.
  • Experience with international or import-export product operations is beneficial.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
