Job Overview

Gammon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Technology Implementation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the implementation of digital strategies across various projects and sites.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans for implementing technology advancements that enhance construction site safety, productivity, quality, and operations.
  • Lead the execution of digital strategies at both group and project levels, ensuring seamless integration and successful outcomes.
  • Manage project delivery teams effectively, focusing on timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional results.
  • Evaluate emerging technology solutions and recommend those that align with our organization's long-term goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a robust digital innovation governance framework, facilitating the development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review of new technologies.
  • Recognize and manage the digital construction ecosystem, fostering collaboration and partnerships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective vendor management for project delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Create, maintain, and retire digital project delivery knowledge assets, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • A degree in Digital, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital and innovation roles, with at least 3 years of solid people and project management experience.
  • Solid experience in construction project management is highly advantageous.
  • A good command of written and spoken English, preferably with proficiency in spoken Chinese.
  • The ability to lead team members, plan and execute projects, articulate the digital innovation journey, and manage change across teams or organizations.
  • Experience with construction and technology management processes, including BIM, CDE, IoT, AI/ML, data analytics, and project/programme management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Digital Twin principles would be an advantage.
