About the Team

PSP Investments has a significant presence in Asian private equity, with a current exposure of over C$5 billion. Our team has made commitments to several private equity funds and completed multiple direct/co-investments in the region. This is a unique opportunity to join a regional office of a globally established investment firm and gain exposure to high deal velocity/variety.

About Your Role

As an Intern, Private Equity, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting company and market research
  • Performing financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
  • Assisting in the execution of transactions and portfolio monitoring
  • Drafting investment memoranda, internal and external presentations
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent academic credentials, preferably in business, economics, or a scientific field
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Prior internships in private equity, investment banking, or consulting are highly desirable
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of Asian languages and international experience considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including a solid understanding of corporate finance and key accounting principles
  • Proactive attitude and sense of initiative
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
