ABOUT THE TEAM
PSP Investments has established a significant footprint in the Asian private equity landscape, with current commitments totaling approximately C$5 billion. We have engaged with various private equity funds and executed numerous direct and co-investments in the region, with a strong pipeline of investment activities anticipated in the future. This role presents a unique chance to join a vibrant regional office of a globally recognized investment organization. As an Intern within the Private Equity team in Asia, the chosen candidate will experience a high volume and variety of deals, providing exceptional learning opportunities.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Private Equity Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive company and market analysis
- Performing financial assessments, valuations, and modeling
- Supporting the execution of transactions and monitoring of portfolios
- Preparing investment memoranda and both internal and external presentations
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Strong academic background; a degree in business, economics, or a related field is preferred, though other disciplines will also be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Previous internships in private equity, investment banking, or consulting are highly advantageous
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Asian languages and international experience will be viewed favorably
- Robust analytical and quantitative abilities, with a solid grasp of corporate finance and essential accounting principles
- A proactive mindset and a strong sense of initiative
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
