Pricing and Product Development
  • We are seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing to perform life and health reinsurance pricing for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia market quotations under our company's guidelines.
  • As a key member of our Pricing team, you will engage in product development discussions with internal and external stakeholders to assess risk and develop new products.
  • You will review pricing work performed by junior team members and support timely deliveries of individual and group quotations to cedants.
In-force Management
  • The ideal candidate will perform experience studies and profitability analyses on in-force treaties and support repricing for renewal negotiations led by our Marketing team.
Communication
  • You will work closely with local Marketing, Underwriting & Claims Services teams, and occasionally with Hannover Office, other regional offices, and departments concerning product developments, repricing, treaty terms reviews, pricing bases set up, and guideline compliance.
Treaty Documentation
  • Our Senior Manager, Pricing will review treaty documents to ensure consistency between pricing intentions and quotation offers and reconcile treaty inputs in our internal system.
  • You will train junior team members for their professional development.
You come equipped with
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in technical pricing from the Insurance or Reinsurance industry.
  • Qualified Actuary with excellent communication skills as the role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge in Life and Health products in the APAC region.
