Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Pricing to join our Hong Kong Branch on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in technical pricing from the Insurance or Reinsurance industry and be qualified as an Actuary with excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for performing life and health reinsurance pricing for various markets under the company's guidelines and engaging in product development discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform life and health reinsurance pricing for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia market quotations under the company's guidelines.
  • Engage in product development discussions with internal and external stakeholders for risk assessments.
  • Review pricing work performed by junior Pricing team members and support timely deliveries of individual and group quotations to cedants.
  • Perform experience studies & profitability analyses on in-force treaties and support repricing for renewal negotiations led by the Marketing team.
  • Work closely with local Marketing, Underwriting & Claims Services team, and occasionally with Hannover Office, other regional offices, and departments concerning product developments, repricing, treaty terms reviews, pricing bases set up, and guideline compliance.
  • Review treaty documents to ensure consistencies between pricing intentions and quotation offers and reconcile treaty inputs in the company's internal system.
