The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is seeking a senior trade fair executive to join our Exhibitions and Digital Business Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our operations in managing resources, maintaining and executing policies, procedures, plans, and systems in all aspects of operational duties for trade fairs and public fairs in Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective operation strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
- Lead a team to manage resources, maintain and execute policies, procedures, plans, and systems in all aspects of operational duties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and provide strategic insights to inform business decisions.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of related IT systems to improve business processes and efficiency.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting.
- A minimum of 8 years' solid managerial experience in marketing/business development, with experience in the exhibition industry being a definite advantage.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as fluent Putonghua.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record in operational planning and execution.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with tight timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with strong leadership and team management skills.
