Reporting directly to the AVP of Business Planning, the ideal candidate will possess a robust finance and business planning background, coupled with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business performance and partner with Business Unit stakeholders to propel strategic initiatives and meet revenue and gross margin AOP objectives.
  • Deliver insights and support in performance monitoring, reporting, and the creation of dashboards.
  • Examine financial and operational data along with KPIs to facilitate informed business decisions, including the identification of trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in crafting rolling forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), encompassing revenue, expenses, and capital investments, while ensuring effective tracking.
  • Support financial modeling, business case development, and various ad hoc tasks as necessary.
  • Employ performance tracking metrics such as KPIs, LTV, CAC, and other pertinent indicators, alongside traditional accounting methodologies.
  • Review and refine existing processes to align with evolving business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Extract, analyze, transform, and automate data from diverse sources to guarantee data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, Product, and Digital Innovation, to support the planning and analysis cycle.

Qualifications for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; familiarity with the Telecommunications sector is advantageous.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, adept at managing large datasets with precision and within tight deadlines.
  • Innovative thinker and effective problem solver with excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of working independently while demonstrating strong business acumen.
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Epicor systems is a plus.
