Position: Assistant General Manager & Head of Collections and Liquidity Management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the team in developing and executing strategies for a range of collection and liquidity products aimed at enhancing CASA deposits, payment transactions, and fee generation.
  • Stay informed about fluctuations in market and competitor interest rates, particularly for HKD and USD, to optimize CASA revenue and volume.
  • Keep abreast of the latest market trends and industry best practices relevant to corporate clients and their daily working capital needs to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Assess market size and ensure consistent growth in market share to meet targeted objectives.
  • Design and/or enhance collection and liquidity capabilities to align with the needs of WBG target customers, establishing CNCBI as a preferred cash management partner.
  • Leverage technology to provide innovative solutions and connectivity that set CNCBI apart from competitors.
  • Embrace digitization within the collection and liquidity product suite.
  • Utilize analytics to derive insights that drive the collection and liquidity business forward.
  • Guarantee seamless end-to-end process delivery by collaborating with relevant risk owners, including RMG, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders for product enhancements.
  • Understand account structures to create linkages through real sweeps or pooling capabilities for managing surplus funds.
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to engage with customers, gaining insights into market changes, regulatory updates, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure product offerings are compliant with regulatory changes and internal standards.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with other departments such as Operations, Legal, Finance, Credit, and Treasury to address their needs when product involvement is necessary.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for all relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Collection & Liquidity product management, with at least 5 years in customer-facing roles focused on cash management.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management products, current market developments, and industry best practices in daily operations.
  • Proficient in forward planning and results-driven.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
