Shangri-La, a renowned hospitality group, is seeking an exceptional Strategic Communications Director to spearhead its corporate communications and public relations efforts.

Job Description

This critical role will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies to drive business growth, enhance reputation, and maintain stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans across various channels, including media relations, crisis communications, and internal communications;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and media representatives;
  • Cultivate a robust media network to secure positive coverage and manage crisis situations effectively;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of communication initiatives;
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate communications and public relations, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field;
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline, such as communications, marketing, or journalism;
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese language skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling content and communicate complex ideas effectively;
  • Detailed-minded and strong project management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with a track record of delivering successful end-to-end communication campaigns;
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal skills, able to collaborate well with diverse stakeholders.
