Job Summary

Guy Carpenter & Company, Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our client support services in Hong Kong. As the Head of Client Support Services, you will be responsible for driving regional strategy and leading service operations for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional strategies to improve client experience and provide value-added services.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality client support services.
  • Collaborate with the regional CSS leadership team to achieve business objectives and deliver best-in-class service to clients.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and counsel on processes to handle operational issues.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet long-term organizational objectives.
  • Promote and drive relationships with brokers, clients, and markets to lead the business externally.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years' experience in reinsurance operations, covering treaty and facultative (technical accounts, claims, and reinsurance contracts) from a sizeable organization.
  • Strong knowledge of market practices within technical domain areas.
  • On-the-ground experience working in Greater China is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a minimum of eight years' managerial and leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and network in a global environment.
  • Ability to operate regionally with knowledge and appreciation for local country nuances.
  • Bachelor's degree is required, with a postgraduate degree desirable.
  • Strong communication in English, with Cantonese/Mandarin or another Asian language preferred.
  • Proficient MS Office skills, with the ability to leverage digital tools and technology.
