We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our Global Operations Team at Qube Research & Technologies. As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our APAC operations, ensuring the smooth execution of our investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Issue Resolution: Resolve breaks and reconciliation queries for all of our funds in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reconciliation and Trade Management: Review daily cash, transactions, and positions reconciliation, manage trade bookings, and oversee the full trade life cycle of positions.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a focal point for resolution and operational issues with internal stakeholders, including Execution Brokers, Prime Brokers, and Fund Administrators.
- Collaboration and Communication: Participate in weekly and monthly deep dive calls with the Fund Admin to resolve outstanding breaks and ensure seamless communication across teams.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in the Finance industry, with a strong background in investment operations.
- Skills: Excellent product knowledge on Bonds, IRS, FX, Options, Equities, and Futures, as well as experience in process improvement for reduction of errors and efficiency.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated with a positive and proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
