Job Description

Pure Storage, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Systems Engineering Manager to lead our sales and adoption efforts in the Greater China region.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our Sales team, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive the growth of our business in Greater China.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to lead pre-sales activities, including conducting technical assessments, developing proposals, and presenting solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Sales Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to sales teams to ensure they have the necessary information to effectively communicate Pure's value proposition to customers.
  2. Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to understand their business goals and pain points, and develop tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
  3. Technical Competence: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in storage, networking, and systems, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth in the Greater China region.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or pre-sales roles, with a focus on enterprise storage and data center solutions.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions, including architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • BS in CS, EE, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
