Job Description:

As a Senior Enterprise Architect - Transit Solutions, you will play a critical role in defining technical and application solutions architectural strategies, roadmaps, and designs for transport business.

You will lead the transport application team, exploring the latest use of technology partners to improve delivery and the Octopus experience in transport.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategic architectural advice and implementation to fulfill business needs.
  • Providing technical knowledge for product realization activities.
  • Promoting, making decisions on, reviewing, enhancing, and enforcing architectural related development standards and processes.
  • Ensuring the development of internal and external client-oriented documentation and respective evolution into recommended workable solutions.
  • Advising senior management on purchases, expenses, and contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on enterprise architecture governance and development.
  • Good knowledge in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Java, and Mobile development, and relevant tool sets in the industries.
  • Familiarity with the technical features of government public transport fare subsidy schemes.
  • Certification in one of the Enterprise Architecture Practices, e.g., TOGAF.
  • Knowledge in contemporary enterprise architecture, including data, system application, mobile, and web.
  • Track records in creating IT architectural models and their low-level components to address business improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English.
