Investments and Wealth Solutions - Capital Markets

Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a comprehensive range of investment products and services to our Wealth and Personal Banking customers. We distribute investment funds managed by top-tier fund managers, covering different types of funds, regions, and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also provide fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers seeking regular coupon payments. Additionally, we offer securities services covering exchange-traded equities in local and overseas markets through various trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing services provide extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater to the investment needs of sophisticated investors.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our Capital Markets Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute activities related to Hang Seng Treasury Products/Solutions for the Private Bank Division, encompassing FX Forwards, Options, and other off-balance-sheet structures, covering both FX and equity.
  • Participate in planning and developing new products, as well as implementing and delivering them.
  • Regularly review and monitor product risk rating mechanisms.
  • Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert for GM products, supporting daily price quotations, ensuring adherence to the overarching pricing strategy, and overseeing the order process.
  • Participate in pricing, communicate with channels, and across management teams in the division.
  • Champion existing products/solutions, ensuring they remain competitive in the best interest of clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support everyday business operations.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and assess their impact on the product suite, making necessary adjustments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the financial services industry, specifically in treasury products.
  • Knowledgeable in proposition development, pricing, and communication skills to channels.
  • Deep understanding of global markets and ability to articulate each respective payoff.
  • Preferably with knowledge of FX Forwards, FX/Share Options, Accumulators, and Decumulators.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements in Global markets products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
