Job Overview

In this role, you will not be applying to become a Consultant. Third Bridge is a premier investment research firm that specializes in orchestrating and delivering research for our clients. As an Associate, you will engage with our Consulting Clients.

Understanding Consulting

Our consulting clients represent large corporations (Fortune 500) or institutional investors, providing them with in-depth research to inform their corporate strategies or investment choices. The insights derived from our experts and content form the foundation of the recommendations they present to their clients.

Role of an Associate in Consulting

As an Associate within our Consulting division, you will have the chance to collaborate with some of the leading management consulting firms globally. They will rely on you for access to pertinent experts and research materials, which you will be tasked with identifying and recommending throughout their project phases. This position will enable you to develop a unique set of stakeholder management skills, ensuring excellent outcomes for both clients and experts. The projects may be intricate, but the impact is significant - you will frequently receive feedback from clients, experts, and colleagues about the positive difference you make.

Key Responsibilities:

Problem Solver: Consulting clients depend on us for their research requirements; it is our responsibility to fulfill their requests for experts.
In practice: You will seek relevant content and evaluate experts to assist your clients at every stage of their research. They often work under tight deadlines, which we must meet with urgency while maintaining quality. Business Contributor: Understanding exceptional client service in a competitive market and recognizing how your efforts influence revenue growth is crucial. Collaborate with your team to implement strategies for the accounts you manage.
In practice: Each project presents an opportunity to enhance performance by fulfilling client requests. Every interaction with clients and experts is a chance to generate revenue and expand your business portfolio. Team Player and Mentor: We function as a cohesive unit, both within your immediate team and across the broader Consulting division. One day, you may lead initiatives, while on another, you will support your colleagues.
In practice: You will be expected to train and develop those around you, both within your team and with those you collaborate with on client requests. You will also receive extensive hands-on training and coaching. We foster a feedback-driven culture that values effective communication. Research Partner: Throughout their research journey, clients view us as an extension of their team.
In practice: There will be instances where innovative thinking is required to bridge knowledge gaps swiftly. You may also need to go the extra mile to ensure a seamless partnership with your clients.

Qualifications

Strengths Required:

You must consistently deliver high-quality work within a deadline. Managing multiple active workstreams simultaneously should excite you, and you should be confident in your ability to multitask and stay organized. The pressure on private equity investors to make quick decisions is significant, but you remain composed and accomplish tasks efficiently. If your client requires assistance outside of standard hours, or if an expert is in a different time zone, you strive to provide support - your hours will vary based on the client project you are involved in, but you prefer this dynamic over a routine job. Cold calling does not intimidate you; your focus is on achieving results promptly.
