The Bank of East Asia is seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our corporate communications department, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with the investment community, providing senior management with intelligence on investors' intentions, and facilitating two-way communications between the investment community and the Group.
Key Responsibilities- Investor Relations: Facilitate two-way communications between the investment community and the Group, providing senior management with intelligence on investors' intentions and market sentiment.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thematic research and analyses independently and in collaboration with various business units to provide insights on the Group's business models and earnings drivers.
- Event Management: Organize roadshows, briefings, result conference calls, and other investor-related events to facilitate engagement with the investment community.
- Content Creation: Generate contents and materials related to communications with the professional investment community, including reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with the investment community, including institutional equity and fixed income investors, sell-side analysts, credit rating agencies, and relevant external stakeholders.
- Education: University graduate/Bachelor degree holder
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in corporate investor relations, with strong working knowledge and experience in buy-side or sell-side equity, or corporate research
- Skills: Self-starter with ability to work independently and within a team, deal with people across seniority levels, both within and outside of the Group; ability to handle time-sensitive matters and ambiguous and complex situations; high integrity with keen awareness of prevailing compliance standards; knowledge of capital markets, valuation methodologies, and investment processes; excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Language: Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; spoken Mandarin is advantageous
