Job Summary

DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AVP/Senior Associate to join our Risk Management Group (RMG). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving credit applications, ensuring that they meet the group standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve credit applications, transactional/exceptions and documentation requests within delegated approval authorities.
  • Provide credit judgment/comment for obtaining approval from higher approval level if the proposed credit is outside the delegated lending authority.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, COO office and Business for the review of credit application and preparation of credit documentation.
  • Represent WM Credit to participate in regulatory reporting and process enhancement projects.
  • Support business/product developments by providing feedback and information relating to credit and documentation risks of any new businesses.

Requirements

  • University graduate in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or other related disciplines.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in private banking credit review. Experience in credit documentation preparation/credit approval is preferred.
  • Good knowledge in wealth management products.
  • Strong analytical power, good problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to make reliable recommendations to management under tight timelines.
  • Experience on Avaloq system is an advantage.
