Executive Officer I / II (Programme Manager), Doctor of Business Administration Programmes
The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a prestigious institution recognized for its excellence in business education and leadership development in the Asia Pacific region.

Established in 1963, the university has a strong reputation for cultivating influential business leaders and offers a diverse array of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including MBA, MSc, MAcc, EMBA, MPhil, and PhD, serving over 4,600 students.

The DBA Programmes are exclusive and designed to attract senior executives and business leaders from significant organizations within Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, with a focus on research interests.

The university seeks an experienced Executive Officer to collaboratively pursue the programme's strategic objectives as part of a dedicated team.

The responsibilities of the appointee include:
(a) Developing and maintaining robust relationships with academic and non-academic personnel, as well as various internal and external stakeholders to enhance curriculum development, programme management, student advising, and support services, ensuring a high-quality learning experience;
(b) Planning and executing engagement initiatives aimed at marketing, student recruitment, and strengthening the student-alumni network;
(c) Coordinating with service providers and stakeholders, including corporations, business associations, prospective applicants, alumni, and others;
(d) Supporting the daily operations and administration of the programmes, including financial and resource planning;
(e) Guiding programme administrative staff and other teaching support personnel;
(f) Performing additional duties as required.

Flexibility in working hours and occasional travel may be necessary.

Candidates should possess:
(i) A Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience in business and education;
(ii) Fulfillment of the English language requirements specified on the university's website;
(iii) A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification executive or management experience, with prior experience in the higher education sector being advantageous;
(iv) Strong skills in relationship building and effective communication with diverse individuals, including high-level executives, business partners, prospective and current students, alumni, and other stakeholders;
(v) A self-driven, collaborative, and organized work ethic, demonstrating ownership and leadership capabilities to ensure high-quality outcomes, while managing multiple tasks under pressure and tight deadlines;
(vi) Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Executive Officer II position. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for interviews and assessments as necessary.

The appointment will initially be on a contract basis for up to 2 years, with the possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement and performance.
