The Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director to join our team and drive the company's accelerating growth strategy in non-HK regions. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Business Development to plan, develop, and execute business planning, focusing on:

  • Achieving growth in business and agency force against business plan;
  • Ensuring the sales force maintains high standards of professional ethics;
  • Implementing the company's business development strategy in non-HK regions, seizing business opportunities, and exploring new customer segments to achieve the company's strategic business objectives;
  • Collaborating and supporting Agency Business Partners to perform sales-driven business activities;
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver effective agency growth plans;
  • Developing programs to provide capability improvement training for agency forces in close collaboration with Business Training Teams;
  • Performing other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate managers to meet business requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University degree in any discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry, with agency channel knowledge highly preferred;
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • An enthusiastic and excellent team player who pursues excellence;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Solid experience in agency recruitment and management of life insurance;
  • Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken).
