Job Summary

As a Business Development Manager at Now Health International, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation across our business. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our General Manager to identify and deliver upon opportunities to grow premium income and seek new business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a panel of brokers, reviewing their performance and providing training as needed to ensure best possible positioning of our products and services.
  • Work closely with our operational teams to ensure high retention levels through a peerless service experience and with our underwriting team to maximise group renewals.
  • Present Now Health International to potential clients via face-to-face meetings, ensuring that all communications demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
  • Manage and maintain the sales pipeline in Salesforce, reporting the status of any opportunity to the General Manager and senior management.
  • Align clients' and intermediary expectations of service standards, supporting the development of operational staff to nurture strong partner relationships.
  • Create and be accountable for proposals, contracts, and further documentation using Now Health International procedures and service standards.
  • Adhere to Best Practice Processes, Service Standards, and all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly (TCF).

Requirements

  • Proven track record of business development and growth in a commercial setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry and its regulatory requirements.
