Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Director at ZA Bank, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive branding and marketing strategy to position the bank as a leader in the financial services industry. This includes managing a high-performing team of specialists to integrate all aspects of the marketing mix, including advertising, performance marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and public relations.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Drive product growth and performance metrics
  • Optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Align marketing objectives with the bank's overall business goals
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, branding, and product management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector
  • Proven track record of leading successful, multi-channel marketing campaigns that have delivered measurable results in terms of brand awareness and business growth
  • Demonstrated expertise across the full marketing mix, including advertising, performance marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and public relations
  • Exceptional team management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse marketing team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the presence to influence and collaborate with senior executives
  • Data-driven mindset and the ability to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
