This position involves working as a Data Management Associate in our North Asia team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of client data in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and maintain account opening documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between various teams, including front office, business management, KYC, and compliance.
  • Provide guidance on new and periodic client documentation-related inquiries.
  • Support regional projects and initiatives related to automation and digitalization.
Requirements
  • Degree holder with at least 4 years of experience in account opening documentation and maintenance from an international private bank.
  • Detail-oriented and team player with knowledge of Avaloq being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HKMA and AML regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Further Obligations
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and business partners on daily operations support, including trade matching/confirmation, investment operations/settlement, and resolving trade discrepancies for multi-asset investment products.
  • Ensure timely and accurate transaction/operation processes by regulatory and corporate governance standards.
  • Promote operational efficiency and facilitate the transformation of the trading system as a subject matter expert.
  • Process cash/cheque payments and remittances, requiring liaison with internal/external counterparts across the region.
  • Resolve transaction issues promptly and ensure fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight of daily in/out cash/cheque payments, requiring liaison with internal/external counterparts across the region as deputy team leader.
  • Drive periodic procedural reviews and system automation to support regulatory and new product changes.
