We are seeking a skilled Freelance Translator to join our team at ProZ. As a Freelance Translator, you will be responsible for translating and proofreading documents from English to Dutch for the gaming industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and proofread documents from English to Dutch
- Work on a variety of projects, including video games
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members
- Meet tight deadlines and maintain high-quality work
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
- Specialized knowledge of the gaming industry
- Acute attention to detail and ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines
- Asian time zone preferred
Qualifications
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or equivalent degree with significant translation training
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree
- Certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body
