About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager/Head of Sales to join our team in APAC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, with previous experience in a fast-paced organization, and will be able to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders of funds in the region. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to articulate the value proposition of our solutions to potential clients.

Responsibilities:
* Achieve new and additional license revenue targets across Asia
* Develop territory plans to ensure all opportunities are qualified, developed, and managed effectively through to closure of a sale
* Analyze the addressable market in Asia to identify opportunities for growth
* Support sales and marketing campaigns as defined by the global and regional marketing functions
* Maintain and update accurate information in Salesforce
* Engage with the client and develop initial relationships to discover the opportunity
* Create and implement strategic and operational plans to improve market position, product range, innovation sales support, brand awareness, and customer focus
* Articulate the need internally at SimCorp APAC
* Identify and assess the likelihood of a win
* Create pursuit team – including collaboration with senior locally and globally
* Ensure detailed information transfer from the sales process to the implementation team after a contract has been signed
* Become an expert in the value propositions of our solutions
* Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the team to deliver effective marketing strategies
* Explore new routes to market
* Identify and prioritize key players and top targets

Requirements:
* Relevant Bachelor's degree, advanced degrees preferred
* Previous experience in a Sales role is critical
* Previous enterprise sales experience in a fast-paced organization
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders of funds in APAC
* Ability to learn and understand business issues the SimCorp offerings solve
* Ability to think both strategically and tactically
* Balance of people, selling and relationship development skills
* Demonstrated experience in leading the lifecycle of the sales process
* Excellent customer relations and relationship management skills
* Ability to identify market trends impacting corporate sales techniques
