The Opportunity:Mattel APAC Sourcing Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant with a focus on analysis and reporting.Responsibilities:Responsible for financial & management reporting, customer accounting, audit and forecast for US regionMonitor AR collection & customer deductions and prepare customer performance reportReview customer contract and resolve issues relating to customer inquiries and issuesReview and monitor customer allowance calculation, accruals, reserves and reportsHandle cash flow forecast and variance analysisResponsible for SOX and Financial audits and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements, liaise with internal and external auditors and perform internal controls review process and make recommendationsRespond to ad hoc queries from various stakeholders including Commercial Finance and different business functionsParticipate in system enhancement and process improvement from accounting perspectiveParticipate in ad-hoc projects and assignments
Requirements:Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or any related disciplinesQualified member of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalentMinimum 7 years of relevant experience in financial & management reporting, forecast and analysis, preferably from MNCsProficiency in MS Office and sound knowledge in Excel, e.g. Pivot table & VLOOKUP, is a mustProficiency in Oracle Financial System is preferredA good team player with positive mindset and strong interpersonal and communication skillsWith strong analytical and problem solving skillsGood command of both written and spoken skills English and Chinese
