Our chefs play a crucial role in delivering this experience, and we're looking for a talented Pastry Sous Chef to join our team.
The RoleAs a hands-on Pastry Sous Chef, you'll work closely with our Head Chef to lead by example, demonstrating exceptional quality assurance and standards. You'll assist in menu planning, implementation, and execution, controlling food preparation and managing wastage for your section. Your expertise will be essential in developing innovative and original menu planning, ensuring our food offering remains the best in the area.
- You'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, handling baking and other kitchen equipment, and creating pastries, baked goods, and confections by following a set recipe.
- You'll develop new recipes for seasonal menus, decorate pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful presentation, and meet with customers to discuss details and planning of custom-made desserts and pastries for special occasions.
- You'll monitor the stock of baking ingredients and ensure efficient kitchen processes are maintained.
