Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Sun Life as an Assistant Manager in Sales Personnel. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative support to our various channels and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support to Channels:

  • Facilitate the licensing process for Financial Institution channels and Bancassurance.
  • Maintain accurate system records for the TR under Financial Institution Channel and Bank Staff for Bancassurance Channels.

Administrative Support to Agency:

  • Assist the Agency with administrative tasks, including maintaining the secretary registry, ordering name cards, preparing reference letters, and responding to IRD correspondence.
  • Support departmental functions such as invoice processing, budget preparation, and business continuity planning.
  • Manage enrollment and payment processes for various benefits offered to agents and agency leaders.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders (Channel support, FIN, IT, and Agency) to ensure precise record-keeping.
  • Assist the immediate manager in ensuring smooth daily operations and enhancing the quality of deliverables.

Document Preparation:

  • Review and update bilingual agency manuals and guidelines.
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials for supervisors.

Process Improvement & Digitalization:

  • Engage in system enhancement and digitalization initiatives.
  • Support supervisors in optimizing workflows and processes by providing recommendations aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Execute tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • A degree or higher in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution, with relevant experience in administrative support for distribution channels, agency operations, and agency benefits preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese, with proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
