Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new affluent customers in the GBA and Taiwan markets
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers
  • Conduct discreet financial needs analysis and planning to understand customer requirements
  • Provide tailored solutions and exceptional service on a broad range of banking, insurance, and investment products
  • Make strategic referrals of other consumer banking products to meet customers' investment goals and needs
  • Grow and maximize revenue potential from these segment customers by building strong relationships and delivering differentiated solutions
  • Manage operational risk, adhere to relevant policies and guidelines, and fulfill compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Degree holder, preferably in a business or finance-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in selling investment and insurance products
  • Leadership experience, such as a team lead role, is highly valued
  • Experience in handling offshore and GBA/Taiwan segments is an advantage
  • Qualification to carry out insurance and investment regulated activities is mandatory
  • Sound knowledge of banking, wealth management, and insurance products, including equities, unit trusts, bonds, and treasury products
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze and interpret business and financial data
  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • HKIB Certified Banker is preferred
  • Fulfillment of requirements under the Enhanced Competency Framework is preferred
  • Registered CI-CRWP (ECF-RWM) is preferred, CFP and CFA designation would be an advantage
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is required
  • Relevant experience in dealing with overseas customers is required
