About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Manulife. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the monthly booking process, providing analytical reviews of financial information, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly booking process and provide timely analytical reviews of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Assist with monthly tax provision and ensure accurate and proper compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and implement process efficiencies to improve financial operations.
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in handling queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a recognized professional qualification such as CPA.
  • Over 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with audit exposures.
  • Experience in life insurance accounting framework is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on MS Excel.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
